Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) and the host Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX), saw Frost's basketball squad overcome Italy by a tally of 43-28.

With the victory, Frost improves its record to 21-9 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-16.

Next up, the Gladiators play the Hamilton Bulldogs (Hamilton, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Italy will attempt to improve on its 10-19 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 20-9 record after their 64-17 league win over Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
