Santa Anna Mountaineers (Santa Anna, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eden Bulldogs (Eden, TX), 51-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Anna upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Paint Rock (Paint Rock, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 1A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Panther Creek Panthers (Valera, TX) in a 1A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Eden will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
