The Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Piscataquis Pirates to 28 in the Golden Bucks league victory on Saturday.

The Golden Bucks now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattanawcook for a C North contest on Monday, January 29. Bucksport will battle a Lynx team coming off a 73-24 league win over Orono (Orono, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 12-2.

The Pirates (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Greenville triumphed over Forest Hills (Jackman, ME), 42-39, in a league contest.
