Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wisconsin Heights Vanguards (Mazomanie, WI), 38-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Horeb upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Vikings host Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI) to play the Eagles in a Badger - Small bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Sauk Prairie lost 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI)

Next up, the Vanguards play the Pardeeville Bulldogs (Pardeeville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Wisconsin Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 40-26 league loss to Randolph (Randolph, WI).
