Georgia High School Basketball - Perry ripped by Veterans

The Veterans Warhawks basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Perry Panthers to 30 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warhawks now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tift County for a AAAAAA Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Veterans will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 18-3.

The Panthers (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders enter the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, West Laurens was routed by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 59-44, in a non-league contest.
