The Greene Devils (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Claiborne prevailed over Washburn (Washburn, TN), 75-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 54-43 league loss to Central Wise (Norton, VA).
