Fans at Monday's league battle between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ), saw Mesquite's soccer squad knock off Arcadia by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats enter the 4A Desert Sky battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Saguaro tipped Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Titans battle the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Arcadia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ).
