The Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) basketball crushed the host Cobden Appleknockers (Cobden, IL), 54-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Johnston City walloped Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 61-38, in a non-league test.
The Appleknockers now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Pope County for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Cobden will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 47-18 non-league win over Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton (Elkville, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 18-6.
