Minnesota High School Basketball - Orono succumbs to St. Croix Lutheran

The St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders topped the visiting Orono Spartans basketball team by a final score of 62-51 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) in a AA Section 4 game, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Croix Lutheran will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 61-57 league loss to St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN).
With the defeat, Orono moves to 6-8 on the year. The Spartans host Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN) to face the Red Knights in a AAA Section 6 game on Monday, January 30. The Red Knights enter the game with a record of 13-4. Benilde-St. Margaret's won 76-60 in their recent non-league game against Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN)
