In Saturday's non-league outing, the De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA), by a margin of 48-17.

The Dons (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans go into the outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Pinole Valley was trounced by St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA), 43-37, in a league outing.
