Florida High School Basketball - Union County thwarts Baker County

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) and the host Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL), observed Union County's basketball team knock off Baker County by a score of 56-41.

The Fightin' Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton County (Jasper, FL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton County was knocked off by Lafayette (Mayo, FL), 63-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Middleburg Broncos (Middleburg, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Baker County will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 68-48 non-league win over Keystone Heights (Keystone Heights, FL).
