The Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) basketball edged the host Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD), 47-45 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Tornadoes now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Viborg/Hurley for a B Region 4 bout on Thursday, January 30. Centerville will play a Cougars team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Cougars record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, Tripp-Delmont/Armour falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Burke (Burke, SD) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Burke lost 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Boyd County (Spencer, NE)
