In Tuesday's league contest, the host Vergennes Commodores basketball team scored a big 66-43 win over the Enosburg Falls Hornets.
The Commodores (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds come into the Lake contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Missisquoi Valley was trounced by Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 48-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Enosburg Falls will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Middlebury (Middlebury, VT).
