In Tuesday's league test, the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) basketball squad trounced the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), by a score of 58-24.

Next, the Mavericks clash with the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Friday, January 31. Milford will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Corsairs come into the test with a 15-1 record after their 60-31 non-league win over Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI).

The Warriors (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights come into the Lakes Valley test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Northern bounced South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 54-46, in a league test.
