In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting South County Vipers basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the Rushville-Industry Rockets.
The Vipers (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Beardstown was topped by Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL), 64-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Barry Western Wildcats (Barry, IL) in a West Central contest, on Monday, February 3. Rushville-Industry will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record.
