The Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) basketball edged the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), 44-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Council Rock South for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Lower Moreland will play a Golden Hawks team coming off a 52-23 non-league win over Council Rock North (Newtown, PA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, New Hope-Solebury falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA) to play the Panthers in a Suburban One - Freedom bout on Friday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Cheltenham won 75-38 in their recent league bout against Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA)
