Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blackhawk overwhelms Hopewell

January 29, 2024: Beaver Falls, PA 15010

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), saw Blackhawk's basketball squad wallop Hopewell by a tally of 58-10.

With the victory, Blackhawk improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ambridge (Ambridge, PA) to confront the Bridgers in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Bridgers come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Ambridge lost 51-14 in their recent league challenge against Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Quakers come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 45-39 league win over Beaver (Beaver, PA).
