The Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL), 77-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Dieterich (Dieterich, IL). The Movin Maroons go into the National Trail test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Dieterich was trounced by Paris (Paris, IL), 43-41, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscola for a Central Illinois test on Friday, January 6. Shelbyville will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 42-32 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 13-1.
