Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Iroquois West upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Raiders host Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Paxton-Buckley-Loda lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Oakwood (Fithian, IL)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Friday, January 6. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 53-43 league win over Milford (Milford, IL).
