West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley edges Scott

The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) basketball nipped the host Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV), 57-55 in Tuesday's league test.

The Vikings (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Nitro got by Hoover (Clendenin, WV), 70-60, in a league test.

The Skyhawks now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Scott will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 51-36 league loss to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
