Texas High School Basketball - Industrial succumbs to Columbus

The Columbus Cardinals topped the host Industrial Cobras basketball team by a final score of 42-31 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Cardinals now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hallettsville for a 3A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, January 6. Columbus will battle a Brahmas team coming off a 52-42 league win over Yoakum (Yoakum, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 16-6.
The Cobras (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against Edna (Edna, TX). The Cowboys come into the 3A Region IV District 25 battle with a 18-6 record. In their last battle, Edna prevailed over Palacios (Palacios, TX), 48-36, in a league battle.
