Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 45-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Academy upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to play the Panthers in a B South bout on Thursday, January 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Medomak Valley won 40-33 in their recent non-league bout against Belfast (Belfast, ME)

Next up, the Shipbuilders play the Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME) in a A South bout, on Saturday, January 7. Morse will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
