With the win, Standish-Sterling upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers host Hemlock (Hemlock, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Hemlock won 54-14 in their recent non-league bout against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - West II bout, on Friday, January 6. Nouvel Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 66-42 non-league loss to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI).
