Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum thwarts Blaine

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) and the host Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), observed Squalicum's basketball team knock off Blaine by a score of 64-56.
The Storm (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Golden Eagles come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Ferndale was knocked off by Lakewood (Arlington, WA), 77-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Borderites encounter the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Blaine will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
