The Turpin Spartans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Loveland Tigers to 32 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Milford for a Eastern Cincinnati game on Tuesday, January 7. Turpin will confront a Eagles team coming off a 64-63 league loss to Little Miami (Morrow, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Loveland falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lebanon (Lebanon, OH) to confront the Warriors in a Eastern Cincinnati game on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-3. Lebanon won 65-54 in their recent league game against Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, OH)
