Idaho High School Basketball - Melba overwhelms Vision

January 3, 2025: Melba, ID 83641

The Melba Mustangs basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Vision to 39 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Declo for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Melba will confront a Hornets team coming off a 51-46 league win over Wendell (Wendell, ID). The Hornets record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Vision falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The host New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID) to confront the Pilgrims in a 3A Western Idaho game on Tuesday, January 7. The Pilgrims go into the game with a record of 3-5. New Plymouth lost 56-50 in their recent league game against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID)
