The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS) and the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS), observed Sacred Heart's basketball team knock off Minneapolis by a score of 60-44.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS). The Trojans come into the North Central AA challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Southeast of Saline prevailed over Republic County (Belleville, KS), 69-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Minneapolis will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to Beloit (Beloit, KS).
