The Red Devils (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Bethel trounced Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 44-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Farmers battle the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Hayward will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 60-27 non-league win over Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA).
