South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA), 86-68 in a league bout.

With the win, South Winneshiek upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Postville (Postville, IA) to clash with the Pirates in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Postville lost 40-38 in their recent league bout against Kee (Lansing, IA)

Next up, the Kee Hawks clash with the West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Kee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 90-42 league loss to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA).
