The Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY), 70-64 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Saranac Lake was tipped by Moriah (Port Henry, NY), 56-52, in a league test.
