In Tuesday's non-league match, the host South Gray Rebels basketball team scored a good 72-62 triumph over the Hodgeman County Longhorns.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Pawnee Heights Tigers (Rozel, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois match, on Friday, February 2. South Gray will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-10 record after their 65-49 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, KS).
With the defeat, Hodgeman County moves to 9-5 on the year. The Longhorns host Bucklin (Bucklin, KS) to meet the Red Aces in a Southern Plains-Iroquois match on Friday, February 2.
