Nevada High School Basketball - West Wendover nudges Battle Mountain

January 30, 2024: Battle Mountain, NV 89820

In Tuesday's league outing, the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) basketball squad edged the host Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), by a count of 38-32.

The Wolverines (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Falcons go into the 2A Northern outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Sierra Lutheran held off Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 46-24, in a league outing.

The Longhorns now hold a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Stage for a 2A Northern outing on Friday, February 2. Battle Mountain will clash with a Nighthawks squad coming off a 46-24 league loss to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-14.
