Texas High School Basketball - Como-Pickton fells Boles

Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX), 44-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Como-Pickton upgrades its record to 16-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 15-15. Fruitvale won 51-45 in their recent league bout against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX)

Next up, the Hornets play the Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 bout, on Friday, February 2. Boles will attempt to upgrade on its 14-17 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 8-19 record after their 61-20 league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX).
