The Oakdale Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Coalfield Yellow Jackets to 34 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harriman for a 1A District 4 contest on Friday, February 2. Oakdale will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 41-31 league loss to Rockwood (Rockwood, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-13.

The Yellow Jackets (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sunbright (Sunbright, TN). The Tigers come into the 1A District 3 contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Sunbright triumphed over Midway (Kingston, TN), 53-52, in a non-league contest.
