The Harrisburg Bulldogs basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Murphysboro Red Devils to 10 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herrin for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio contest on Thursday, February 1. Harrisburg will meet a Tigers team coming off a 51-31 league loss to Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-9.

The Red Devils (1-23) will now prepare for their contest against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Carterville was routed by Massac County (Metropolis, IL), 56-37, in a league contest.
