The Matawan Regional Huskies basketball team (Aberdeen, NJ), was overwhelmed 76-17 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Manasquan Warriors (Manasquan, NJ)
The Warriors now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ranney for a Shore B - Coastal battle on Thursday, February 1. Manasquan will confront a team coming off a 61-46 league win over Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The record now stands at 8-8.
The Huskies (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Long Branch trounced Raritan (Hazlet, NJ), 44-34, in a non-league battle.
