Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), 54-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Niskayuna upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Silver Warriors travel to Shaker (Latham, NY) to play the Bison in a Section 2 Suburban bout on Friday, February 2. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Shaker won 54-52 in their recent non-league bout against Duanesburg (Delanson, NY)

Next up, the Flying Horses play the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban bout, on Friday, February 2. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 72-55 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY).
