Georgia High School Basketball - Appling County routs Cook

January 30, 2025: Adel, GA 31620

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Appling County Pirates basketball team scored a big 75-49 triumph over the Cook Hornets.

The Pirates (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the AA Region 3 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Tattnall County smashed Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 44-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a AA Region 3 contest, on Friday, February 7. Cook will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 28-19 league win over Crisp County (Cordele, GA).
