Texas High School Basketball - Center routs Gilmer

In Tuesday's league outing, the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), by a count of 73-50.

The Roughriders (22-4) will now prepare for their outing against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region III District 17 outing with a 6-22 record. In their last outing, Henderson was crushed by Carthage (Carthage, TX), 53-29, in a league outing.

The Buckeyes now hold a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a 4A Region III District 17 outing on Friday, February 3. Gilmer will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-38 league win over Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-6.
