Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 81-67 in a league bout.

With the victory, Iowa Falls-Alden upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA) to play the Lions in a North Central bout on Friday, February 3. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 14-3.

Next up, the Gaels play the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a North Central bout, on Friday, February 3. St. Edmond will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
