The Marquette Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Parkway Central Colts to 41 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a Suburban - Yellow contest on Friday, February 3. Marquette will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 46-25 non-league win over Parkway North (St. Louis, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.

The Colts (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO). The Pirates come into the Suburban - Red contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Pattonville was nudged by Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO), 61-35, in a non-league contest.
