Texas High School Basketball - Eustace ripped by Malakoff

The Malakoff Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Eustace Bulldogs to 33 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmer for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, February 3. Malakoff will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-34 league loss to Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-11.
The Bulldogs (13-18) will now prepare for their contest against Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Lions enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 15-17 record. In their last contest, Blooming Grove was routed by Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 49-36, in a league contest.
