In Tuesday's league outing, the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), by a margin of 42-24.

The Indians (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Cutters go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Fair Lawn thwarted Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ), 29-19, in a league outing.

The Lancers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Milford for a Big North - Independence outing on Thursday, February 2. Lakeland Regional will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 51-31 league win over Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-8.
