The Melcher-Dallas Saints basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Twin Cedars Sabers to 32 in the Saints league triumph on Tuesday.

The Saints now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moulton-Udell for a Bluegrass contest on Saturday, February 4. Melcher-Dallas will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-31 league loss to Murray (Murray, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-17.

The Sabers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Saydel was defeated by Nevada (Nevada, IA), 65-22, in a league contest.
