Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS), 35-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Gentry upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Rams host Greenville (Greenville, MS) to play the Hornets in a 5A Region 2 bout on Friday, February 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 12-12. Greenville lost 57-50 in their recent league bout against Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS)

Next up, the Wolves play the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) in a 5A Region 2 bout, on Friday, February 2. Cleveland Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 22-3 record after their 62-54 league win over Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS).
