New York High School Basketball - Midlakes ripped by Newark

The Newark Reds basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Midlakes Screaming Eagles to 40 in the Reds league triumph on Wednesday.
The Reds now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mynderse Academy for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Friday, February 2. Newark will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 42-20 league win over Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-4.
The Screaming Eagles (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 8-8 record.
