The St. Mark's Spartans basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Wilmington Friends Quakers to 39 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Padua Academy for a Catholic contest on Friday, February 2.

The Quakers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Newark Charter School was defeated by Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE), 58-31, in a non-league contest.
