The Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Christiansburg Blue Demons to 52 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Auburn for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Cave Spring will confront a Eagles team coming off a 72-36 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Christiansburg falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Blue demons host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-11. Staunton River won 54-40 in their recent league game against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
