The Grants Pass Cavemen were victorious over the visiting Willamette Wolverines basketball squad by a final score of 51-35 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Cavemen clash with the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a 6A Southwest outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Grants Pass will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 5-14 record after their 72-71 league loss to South Eugene (Eugene, OR).
The Wolverines (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Irish enter the 6A Southwest outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Sheldon ran past North Medford (Medford, OR), 54-49, in a league outing.
