In Friday's league contest, the host Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 55-47 triumph over the McGuffey Highlanders.
The Golden Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record.
In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Sto-Rox Vikings (McKees Rocks, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. McGuffey will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 55-52 league loss to Washington (Washington, PA).
